Nicholas Hogg reads a scene set in New York from his novel The Hummingbird and The Bear. Thomas Legendre lends his American accent to a Nicholas Hogg story and follows with the first chapter of his next novel. Bahar Brunton reads a comic tale of love and glasses, The Evil Around the Eyes. Emer O'Toole entertains the crowd with a new story about boundaries that it would be unwise to cross. Eley Williams reads a new story about synesthesia and then reprises her story first heard on 4'33'', about a Shipping Forecast gone way off course. Lynsey May reads her another tale that appeared on 4'33'' along with her story Purple Water. Kate Brown entrances the audience with her story Windowpanes. Gavin Inglis gets ghoulish and also presents a cinematic tale with an original music score. Dulcie Few transfers a psychoanalyst story onto a very willing audience and reads her story Beneath the Covers. Marcus Speh brings his wonderful Berlin Pastoral to London Town. Katy Darby transports us to the Deep South with her story Juice. Richard House rounds off a fabulous evening with an excerpt from his novel we were ok.
